The EU has just sanctioned Col. Jacques Baud, a Swiss citizen who has frequently commented on the war in Ukraine. The pretext is "spreading Russian propaganda" and "destabilizing activities". Aparently quoting facts that contradict official narratives are the basis for the sanctions.

The EU sanctions mean that Baud cannot fly into or out of Switzerland, and it is likely that he will be debanked by Swiss banks. This is an executive action by unelected leaders.
