PUTIN TOTALLY UNPLUGGED
It's fair to argue that Putin may have entertained a measure of astonishment as he fully understood the extent to which Western oligarchies are totally committed to destroy the European economy by orchestrating an energy crisis.
He defined it as “economic suicide”.
Just to announce immediately afterwards that payment in rubles will be extended from gas to oil.
Hence Europe, from now on, long-term, and perhaps forever, will have to deal with - and survive under - very high energy prices.
As for Russia, the strategy is straightforward: proactive, and turning into it own advantage each and every one of the West's counter-productive “decisions”.
Should Putin shift from "Special Military Operation" to a declaration of war? (Why or why not, in the comments section)
Hardliners in Russia are urging Putin to expand the operation and make a formal war declaration. This will allow Russia to quickly take on NATO, which is waging, as Lavrov states, 'a full hybrid war'. However other advisers state that Russia is decisively winning on all fronts without having to risk resources, so no need to take such measures.
What do you think?
