My fellow Duranians. In recent days we´ve been seeing demonstrations, social upheavals and even riots all over Europe.
Last night, not only Frankfurt and Berlin saw their fair share of disgruntled people but in Zurich, of all places, we had a bolt out of the blue riot, which really got completely out of control.
I had the opportunity to interview the chief editor of Standpunkt today which I still am editing as it is a German lead interview with simultaneous translation on the whole situation and how it could happen.
It so happens that one of his colleagues was actually in Zurich when this happened and as he is also a paramedic, his full abilities came to fruition last night. Needless to mention that he actually saved a 12 year old boys life.
Please be warned that the following pictures can be disturbing (particularly one) and you´ll get the whole story hopefully tomorrow.
