A mass shooting took place during a Hanukkah celebration at Bondi Beach, Sydney, Australia.

➤ At least 10 people were killed, including one of the shooters. A civilian intervened, tackling and disarming one of the shooters before police fully secured the area.

➤ Rabbi Eli Schlanger, an envoy of the Chabad Religious Zionist movement, was killed this morning in the attack.

➤ Neveed Akram, an Australian of Pakistani origin, is one of the perpetrators of the attack

➤ 11 others were injured, among them two police officers.

➤ Two suspects were involved: one was killed at the scene, the second is in critical condition and in custody.

➤ Police confirmed the scene is now contained, and an investigation is ongoing.
