Sounds like a good idea, but why not both. besides which, if you don't stop immigration you won't hve a nation either, quite rapidly indeed.

Instead, guilt over eternal wars is generated (with some justification, but why 'Iranian terrorism' (?) and 'Russia's wars from Chechnya to Ukraine' is listed among those is a mystery), Putin is said to "cackle" (?) and it is insinuated that the immigrants are "economically useful" and "need to be" "absorbed" by the EU.

No explanation is given how over 60K ...

I view all of the world through the analogies of movies. There's always a movie that can give a good explanation that people can understand without a lot of verbosity. I see the Iran war as the first Rocky movie.

Apollo Creed was the heavy weight champ kept his belt by fighting lesser capable opponents who were sometimes paid to take a dive. That's how Rocky got his chance at a title fight.
