UPDATE 22:00 The toll from today's clashes in Kosovo is quite high: 52 Serb demonstrators and 41 KFOR soldiers (Italian, Hungarian and Moldovan) were injured.

These figures were announced by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in an address to the nation this evening.

According to him, it is Kosovar Prime Minister Albin Kurti who wants to provoke a conflict between Serbia and NATO. Vucic said that earlier today a member of the Kosovar police fired at Serbs demonstrating and that he would not allow another pogrom in Kosovo.

"If the Albanian occupier shoots at Serbs, the situation will be different," he warned. President Vucic spoke to the nation accompanied by the defense minister and chief of general staff, as the Serbian army took up positions around the administrative line with Kosovo since Friday.

Vucic will also travel to the administrative line tonight and meet the leaders of the major powers tomorrow morning.
