His take (and I agree) is that Israel now sees the writing on the wall and doubling down on the cleansing is the only option. They believe in "filling their boots" while they can. For 2 reasons. They know the prime position in negotiations is what you already occupy and even if they are expected to vacate those occupied territories who is going to force them. Also, as I have said before, they do not have to win on the ground. Just mimic really going in but actually ramp up the "flattening" instead. They have got away with it so far so why stop now. The wild card is Iran and the Resitance of course. A slap instead of a tap on the shoulder may be next. Once more, stopping the arms flow would bring an end to the carnage at least.
