I suspect the two assassinations of Fico and Raisi this week signals the beginning of a new phase. The CIA have come to the conclusion that their weapon of choice since the 1990s, "Color Revolutions", no longer works because their opponents have wisened up to it (Georgia may be a straddler due to long term investment in color revolution by the EU there). So, the CIA will be going back to their pre-1991 favorite trick of plain old assassinations, perhaps combined with plain old military coups, also a favorite trick before color revolutions became the new way of doing things. The shift back to asssassinations/coups has probably been underway for a while.

I suspect we will see far more "mysterious accidents" and "lone gunman" incidents take out leaders of countries non-compliant with the US/EU mafia in the future.

DUBAI, May 20. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered to send two planes and helicopters with a group of 50 rescuers to aid in the search for Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi’s helicopter, which made a hard landing earlier, Russian Presidential Aide Igor Levitin said during a phone call with First Vice President of Iran Muhammad Mukhbar.

"Under Putin’s orders, two modern planes and several helicopters carrying 50 mountaineer rescuers will depart to Tabriz [in the northwestern part of Iran] within one hour," Levitin said, according to Tasnim.

Putin held a meeting, attended by top defense and security officials over the incident, Iranian Ambassador to Moscow Kazem Jalali told IRNA.
