New acting president in Iran

The vibrant Iranian democracy goes on and the incident with the death of the Iranian president will most likely change almost nothing in terms of Irans foreign policy.

There are still many unanswered questions about the presidents death e.g. why the other helicopters in the entourage continued without helping the president and of course if It was an accident at all. It could have been an unfortunate accident where the bad weather took the presidents entourage by surprise. However I think that in the war like situation that cetain countries find themselves in, travel by the head of state should be kept to a minimum and that an upgrade of their safety protocols to not allowing for helicopter rides trough mountain terrain without full backup or not at all, should be made. However we must wait for more information before any direct conclusions can be made. New acting president below

The High Court in London ruled Monday that Julian Assange can appeal his extradition to the U.S. on the grounds that he is being denied his First Amendment rights.
-The High Court in London on Monday granted Julian Assange the right to appeal the order to extradite him to the United States on the grounds that the U.S. did not satisfy the court that it would allow Assange a First Amendment defense in a U.S. court.
-“We spent a lot of time listening to the United States putting lipstick on a pig, but the judges didn’t buy it,” Stella Assange told reporters outside the court building. “As a family we are relieved but how long can this go on? The United States should read the situation and drop the case now.”
