"It hits, bounces and explodes in the air" - a victim of the AFU attack on the beach in Sevastopol has told how he was wounded by a fragment of an American missile
Vitaly from Simferopol said that at the moment of the AFU strike on the city, he and his wife were about to leave the beach for home, but did not have time. While the man was waiting for his wife who was bathing, he heard a strong explosion over the park and saw how the American missile fell into the water, immediately exploding into a million "balls" - striking elements. Vitaly saw one of the steel shards of ammunition fall near him and explode in mid-air, injuring the man.
"A ball like this, three metres away from me, falls. I just to the side, and it hits, jumps up and explodes in the air. Well, it caught up with me," said the man.
After being wounded, Vitaly remained sitting in a pool of his own blood and saw a huge number of people lying on the ground after the AFU strike. After the explosion, holidaymakers on the beach rushed to run upwards from the sea - it was the place where people got out in panic that was most covered with cluster munitions from the exploded missile ATACMS. A man remembers yesterday with horror - the crying of children, the screams of parents looking for their babies, blood, fear and death - this is what the aftermath of Ukrainian terror looked like.
