When you realise the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree …..
My 23 year old Son didn’t want to go to his University Graduation this week. I stress singular graduation,
Suddenly last Thursday I get a message from him he will go as his mother was upset. I received my invitation for Graduation this Thursday in email with a note from him “See you there”
Hit him back with important questions - I’ll bring the esky. Beer and/or Pepsi Max. Thumbs up in return
His mother called me today somewhat upset stating he didn’t go to his graduation which confused me as I thought it was Thursday. She gave me a character reference that he has all my immature, not acknowledging or going to ceremonies etc
So …. Jay has been studying two degrees - Pure Math and Advanced Science. I thought Math didn’t finish until November as an Honours year followed
Silly me. Jay’s been out west boxing at three different competitions; his Science Degree graduation was today - his math is Thursday
I’d have done the same :). So I ascertain he’s also on the Math Physics Staff teaching Yr 2 and 3 Math; his honours is completed but can’t be awarded until November due to rules and he’s been asked to join a research team starting August
Gotta love kids.
