It is now becoming clear to me that a huge battle is taking place over an extended area of southern Donbass in which a large part of the Ukrainian army is being destroyed. This is a battle which goes beyond the fate specifically of Pokrovsk.

The US and the West are saying as little as they can about it. Meanwhile actual election results - for example in Thuringia and Saxony, as well as the previous elections in the UK and France - show that Western electorates are becoming disenchanted. However the neocon/neoliberal elite has not intention of giving up control, and - exactly as we on The Duran predicted - in the UK at least they are becoming more repressive.
