It’s really too bad that Israel chose to “liberate” parts of Palestine and settle there. It’s probably the last place on earth they should be trying to civilize. Nobody likes Palestinians, shunned by many in the ME as they only bring division, destruction and turmoil wherever they go.

Jordan, or Trans Jordan as it was known after WW2, would have been a much better choice. Jordan could then have exchanged the Palestinian “refugee camps” for Israelis who could have helped transform the Kingdom into a technology powerhouse.

The returning Palestinians could then have celebrated their new freedom by turning the clocks back 4 centuries. A win-win for everyone.
