I posted this in February of 2023 on the VivaBarnes locals, and it seems the top brass agrees with me. Not sure how I should feel about having the same idea as the twats in DC, but maybe it's useful to be able to get in their head.

Main gun orientation and likely moment of attack are calculated. AI commander prepares to give friendly tank order to avoid, but enemy fires 0.19s earlier than expected. Wind speed is accounted for. Shell speed and trajectory are calculated. Size and speed of shell provides 99.73% assurance it's a 125mm AP round, manufactured by Dynax Manufacturing. Saved specs indicate high risk of penetration. Protection needed.
