Peer-to-peer or not (only nodes on the blockchain and "miners" can do peer to peer, everyone else must use an exchange) fact is that the Feds have a backdoor into all crypto whether BTC or not. All it takes is sufficient interest on the part of the Feds to crack the case. Fact.

So to demand payment for a major crime in bitcoin is stupid. For minor crimes like Nigeria romance scams etc, crypto makes sense because the Feds will never waste time on such.
