MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces have lost more than 27,150 people since the fighting started in the Kursk Region, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
“The enemy lost a total of over 27,150 troops, 177 tanks, 97 infantry fighting vehicles, 106 armored fighting vehicles, 1,014 armored combat vehicles since the fighting started in the Kursk area,” the report said.
The minisrty also said that the Ukrainian armed forces lost more than 250 troops and two armored fighting vehicles in the Kursk Region in 24 hours.
"The Ukrainian army lost more than 250 troops, two armored vehicles, including a US-made Stryker armored fighting vehicle and an armored combat vehicle, as well as a mortar and one car, in 24 hours," the report said.

Battlegroup North repelled eight counterattacks in the Kursk Region in 24 hours, with the Ukrainian forces losing up to 60 people.
"Units of Battlegroup North continued advance actions, during which they inflicted damage on formations of the 22nd, 41st and 115th mechanized, the 17th tank, 82nd and 95th air assault, 36th marine brigade, 112th and 129th territorial defense brigade of the Ukrainian armed forces near settlements of Daryino, Zelyony Schlyakh, Nizhny Klin, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Novoivanovka and Plyokhovo. Units of the battlegroup repelled eight counterattacks by the enemy in the direction of settlements of Daryino, Zelyony Schlyakh, Nizhny Klin, Nikolayevo-Daryino and Novoivanovka," the ministry said.
"The Ukrainian army’s casualties totaled up to 60 people, with a US-made armored fighting vehicle destroyed," according to the report.
Russian aviation inflicts damage on Ukrainian troops in 23 settlements of Kursk Region
Russia’s army aviation inflicted damage on troops of the Ukrainian armed forces near 23 settlements of the Kursk Region and seven settlements in the Sumy region.
"The army aviation and artillery inflicted damage on troops and equipment of the 21st, 22nd, 41st, 47th and 115th mechanized, 17th tank, 82nd and 95th air assault, 36th marine brigade, as well as the 103rd, 112th and 129th territorial defense brigades of the Ukrainian army, the 17th brigade of the Ukrainian national guard near settlements of Aleksandriya, Viktorovka, Gogolevka, Guyevo, Daryino, Zelyony Schlyakh, Kazachya Loknya, Kolmakov, Kruglenkoye, Kurilovka, Lebedevka, Leonidovo, Martynovka, Melovy, Nikolayevo-Daryino, Nikolsky, Novoivanovka, Novy Put, Oleshnya, Plekhovo, Sverdlikovo, Tolsty Lug and Cherkasskoye Porechnoye," the report said.
