"Calling for new elections that will bring BlackRock man Merz into the Chancellery looks to me like a British Hail Mary plot to drag Germany deeper into the Russia war.
See also the last minute attempts of Rothschildhausen (Britain/France) to get ‘Biden’ to agree to using Scalp missiles in the Russian interior.
The objective of bringing Merz prematurely into power is also to terminally destroy all bridges between Germany and Russia. He is a thorough ideologue, internationally inexperienced and corrupt, so the right man for that job.
Scholz, a truly mediocre lackey, at least stopped the Taurus missile direct involvement in the war and kept indirect dialogues via third parties with Russia open. If he would stay in ‘power’ until the end of 2025 this would reduce Britain’s escalatory options against Russia.
My friends and colleagues here are divided, since the traffic light coalition has done so much additional economic damage to Germany.
BTW I disagree with the widespread interpretation that Merkel arranged Minsk just to buy time for arming Ukraine. Read what she exactly says. She blames the West for this result.
And it is the Russians who waited too long after the coup in 2014, just as the Chinese are now waiting too long over Taiwan.
Both do this for the same reason – trying to rescue trade relations that should since long have been re-routed, for political reasons and because the same exporters finance them through credit that will be repudiated by the West."
