The ceasefire expired today.

Iran has issued statements telling the Gulf States -- the usual suspects -- that if their territory is used by the Americans and Zionists to attack Iran, then Iran will destroy their oil & gas infrastructure. This is not a bluff.

If that happens it won't matter much who controls the Strait of Hormuz since not much will be coming out of there anyway. The broken oil markets won't matter because no matter how rigged they are you can't ignore a 20 million barrel/day shortfall which will be with us for the foreseeable future -- at least a decade. The resulting global depression will make recent economic difficulties look like a walk in the park.
