On the current state of negotiations around Ukraine I must yet again remind everyone about an old Russian joke (or rather Jewish one from Odessa):

Matchmaker bursts into the house of shoemaker Mendel.
"Mendel, rejoice! I've come to arrange for your daughter, Riva, to marry Count Potocky."
"Give my daughter to a Christian? Impossible!"
"Well, Mendel, think about it! Count Potocky is an aristocrat, a millionaire, while you're just a poor simple shoemaker..."
"Yes, I understand... But to a Christian, impossible!"
Several hours pass, and an exhausted matchmaker stumbles out of the house.
"Well, thank God! Persuaded him at last. Half the job is done. It's just to persuade Count Potocky now."

-Мендель, радуйся! Я пришел сватать твою дочь Риву за графа Потоцкого.
-За христианина?! Ни за что!
-Ну, Мендель, подумай! Граф Потоцкий - аристократ, миллионер, а ты все-таки простой сапожник...
-Да я понимаю... но за христианина - ни за что!
Проходит несколько часов, из дома вываливается измученный шадхен.
-Ну, слава Богу! Уговорил. Полдела сделано. Пойду теперь уговаривать графа Потоцкого.

I said a few days ago when I saw Macron in Syria that…to quote ABBA…something was going on.
I said the Europeans are trying to quietly talk to the Russians about ending the war. And once Lindsey got blowed up and according to some reports Ursula had to go into a bunker for hours, the Europeans may be looking for a way out.

But some doubted what I said. I present exhibit A

Talk about spilling the beans. And right after Merz played dodge ball with the question like the duplicitous western politician he is. Reminds me of the moment Schulz stood next to Biden when he said he was going to “stop” nord stream

Israel continues to come up with hopeless new quests for the US in order to keep it in the war, and prevent any off-ramps that would doom Israel’s chances of seeing Iran taken out for good. It’s become embarrassing to watch the US haplessly jump to every such false target provided by Israel as a diversionary ruse.

But some voices of reason have arisen from the crowd. WaPo’s sources admit that Iran’s government is unlikely to feel any real pressure from the increasingly toothless US strikes.

A quick commentary on the "Piss Summit"
I might not be able to upload much more or do lives for a while

My Fellow Duranianss.

Yes, it's happened again. I have been assaulted by a vicious Malware Bot Virus or whatever 911 Socks is and this thing is bad ! 

However I wanted to give you a "peace" of my mind concerning the "Piece" or piss, as Elensky calls it, as this thing fell to pieces before it even happened.

Coincidentally on the very SAME DAY  this crap happened Saudi Arabia DROPPED the US Petrodollar as a buying currency and NO ONE absolutely NO ONE is talking about this fact anywhere !!!
