LADY MACBETH, HILLARY CLINTON & BRETT KAVANAUGH

Last night at the dinner table my grandson mentioned he had been reading Macbeth in his English literature course. After a brief discussion of the subject the image of Lady Macbeth as Hillary Clinton crossed my mind and I decided to look into the strange death of Vince Foster, her attourney and close friend who was alleged to have shot himself in a fit of depresion.

Of course, Google’s search engine prioritizes all the whitewashed versions of Foster’s death. I was familiar with excerpts of more critical versions of the incident but had never read any book that had contested the official account, including Dean Arnold’s Hillary and Vince which alleged a cover-up.

Nevertheless, as one thing leads to another, my search took me to yet another subject of interest, US Supreme Court justice, Brett Kavanaugh.

Some of us may remember the controversy surrounding Kavanaugh’s nominination during Trump’s first administration. It concerned an accusation of forced sexual submision when Kavanaugh was in college. Much more pressing national issues seemed to be trivialized by the growing focus of a wokist magnifing glass that distorted reality. In fact, a much greater issue involving Kavanaugh’s past seems to have been ignored in the partisan frenzy that preceded his confirmation to SCOPUS. Ironicaly, it involved Brett Kavanaugh’s apparent suppression of evidence that could have linked Hillary Clinton to Vince Foster’s murder, which had been ruled a suicide despite considerable evidence to the contrary.
