I am not Chinese, and I understand the issues China still has to address, and the current tariff war will cause me some financial pain, but I am so proud of how Xi and Putin are responding to Trumps hubris and stupidity. All of my Chinese managers at our factory are adamant in their support of China's responses. All our bigger suppliers likewise have said China would prefer to walk away from any American trade than to give in. I was in China during the period of tension between China and Japan after the Japanese PM laid a wreath at the war memorial for Japanese soldiers which created a massive groundswell of hatred for all things Japanese. We couldn't even drive anywhere in our Landcruiser during that period because it was Japanese made, people were throwing rocks at, and scratching them. Sushi restaurants were attacked. It was crazy.
