The world has been very busy over the last week, with a tariff agreement between the US and China, a brief war between India and Pakistan, rumours that Trump and Netanyahu are in conflict with each other, and - going from the sublime to the ridiculous - the continued implosion of Keir Starmer following his preposterous (and misnamed) 'Enoch Powell' speech.

However I still maintain my view that the conflict in Ukraine continues to be the key determining issue. Here we have had comic strip 'diplomacy' from Zelensky and the West, what is now universally acknowledged to have been a masterly speech on Saturday by Putin, and major Russian advances on the front lines, which are not getting the attention they deserve.

All this we can discuss, and we should also absolutely give a look back to the celebrations on Victory Day.

Estonian military personnel tried to force the tanker with Russian crew to leave international waters and proceed to the country's zone, where the authorities could detain it.

🔸Despite threats to ram and attempts to land troops from a helicopter, the tanker crew did not succumb to provocations and continued on its course. Estonia used not only patrol vessels, but also MiG-29 aircraft of the Polish Air Force.
