On the negotiations over Ukraine, Trump and Putin are supposed to have a phone call today. Putin will have a very strong hand and will not mince words. The Russian policy, at least since Vietnam, has been "fighting while negotiating". In Vietnam, the negotiation went on for several years while the North Vietnamese army advanced, and they ended with the the fall of Saigon and a complete Vietnamese military victory. That's what I think is going to happen in Ukraine, the fall of Kiev and a complete Russian military victory, I'm guessing by the end of the summer, but who knows.
