#look #Elensky n friends wacks/hits a #lawyer who was also on the list #myrotvorets
In #Madrid, our close friend—lawyer and human rights defender Andriy Portnov—was brutally murdered.
Andriy was a long-time opponent of the Zelensky regime and its dictatorship.
He always stood up for human rights, fought against injustice, lies, and repression—not only in Ukraine but also tried to act beyond its borders.
Andriy was killed in the same way they tried to kill me in Spain. In broad daylight.
I see only one beneficiary—the Office of the President.
The Office of the President is eliminating its dangerous enemies.
Tragically, Andriy’s heart stopped before he could release the compromising evidence he had gathered on Zelensky and his criminal circle.
We mourn his loss.🖤

It’s deeply tragic. He was gunned down in front of children. What exists in Ukraine is a vicious cabal willing to do anything to cling to power. They have mortgaged the country to the West, and to escape retribution from ordinary citizens, their only hope is to prolong this unsustainable war.
They know peace would bring accountability—and that is their greatest fear.

@petertossyn @anatoliisharii Calling Andriy Portnov a human rights defender is contentious. Evidence suggests he was not widely recognized as such, given his role in Yanukovych's administration, linked to authoritarian policies and the 2014 "Dictatorship laws" restricting freedoms. US, EU, and Canadian sanctions targeted him for corruption and judicial interference. His actions, like threatening journalists, further contradict this label. Some view him as a critic of Zelensky's regime, but this lacks support from credible human rights groups. Whether he was a "good person" depends on perspective—some see him as a victim, others as a figure who undermined democracy. The evidence leans against the human rights defender claim.

There is no evidence that Andriy Portnov was granted political refugee status in the EU. His residence in Spain, where his children attended school, likely involved a residence permit or visa, not asylum. Given his past sanctions by the EU and US for corruption and human rights issues, asylum seems unlikely, as it requires proving persecution, which his background contradicts. The claim may stem from narratives like those from Anatolij Sharij, but credible sources do not support it.

Evidence against Andriy Portnov being a human rights defender includes his role in Viktor Yanukovych’s administration (2010-2014), where he helped draft the 2012 Criminal Procedure Code and the 2014 "Dictatorship laws" restricting freedoms, per Wikipedia and BBC. He faced EU sanctions (2014-2015) and US sanctions (2021) for corruption and judicial interference, as reported by RFE/RL. In 2019, he threatened journalists and leaked personal data, condemned by Kharkiv Human Rights Group. Claims of him as a human rights defender, like Anatolij Sharij’s, lack credible backing and are contradicted by these actions. Sources: Wikipedia, RFE/RL, BBC, Kharkiv Human Rights Group.

💥🇪🇸 Andriy Portnov, ex-adviser to Yanukovych, found murdered in Madrid
Spanish media report that Portnov was killed amid a financial dispute. But in Ukraine, many are watching not just why he was killed — but who will replace him.
Because even under Zelensky, Portnov allegedly retained deep influence over Ukraine’s judicial and law enforcement systems — a relic of the old corrupt architecture that survived revolutions, reshuffles, and rebranding.
Portnov was under international sanctions, but Zelensky refused to impose sanctions against him.
His death doesn’t close a chapter.
It opens another question:
Who now inherits his network?

According to Reuters, Andriy Portnov was killed near the American School in the Pozuelo district of Madrid.
Four shots were fired into the chest and one into the head. The shooter was a man on a motorcycle, after which he drove away.
According to another sources, there were several men.
Cadena SER writes that he was killed when he brought his children to school.
Andriy Portnov was a people's deputy of Ukraine in the 2000s, then deputy head of the Presidential Administration during the Yanukovych era.
Portnov sharply criticized the activities of structures associated with the US Democratic Party.
Because of this, in 2021, after Biden came to power, American sanctions were imposed on him.

Ukrainian opposition politician and lawyer Andriy Portnov has been assassinated in Spain. He was possibly the brightest intellectual on the anti-Maidan side of the Ukrainian political spectrum and the source of various authentic leaks which suggested close contacts within Ukrainian security services.
Most recently, he won a plethora of suits against Ukrainian media outlets that accused him of treason and working for Russia.

Portnov’s children reportedly watched their father die after he dropped them at their school. This is where the assassin was waiting for him. The perpetrator fled the scene on a motorcycle.
A cold-blooded gangster-styled murder.

Zelensky has long been worried that “Trump might betray him and Ukraine,” according to Sky News.
An astonishing mix of naivety, arrogance, and entitlement.
Let’s not forget:
1. Zelensky openly sided with Biden and Harris, attacking Trump on state-controlled Ukrainian television.
2. After the U.S. election, he repeatedly accused Trump of being under Russian influence.
Meanwhile, under Zelensky’s orders, Ukraine continues to fabricate the so-called “Russian trace” in Trump’s 2020 campaign.
The Oval Office scandal, the insulting remarks about Steve Witkoff @SteveWitkoff @SecRubio , more state TV smear campaigns…
Zelensky’s reckless behavior is the real betrayal - not only of Ukraine’s national interests,
but of its bilateral relations with the United States.
By contrast, Trump defends the national interests of America,
and Zelensky has become a direct threat to them.
