I make this prediction based on reports of escalaton in the mutual bombing war. President Putin has been holding back his gung-ho officers. But on popular demand (the voting kakistocrats always want more war!) and since negotiations even with Trump proved to be hopeless, even he cannot tame the monster of war anymore.

The Russian military is very academic. They know that "we need to escalate in order to de-escalate" has never worked.
