Dozens of Israeli Soldiers Killed or Maimed in Gaza Ambush

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – A senior commander of Saraya al-Quds resistance group, the military wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, announced that nearly 40 Israeli occupation troops were killed or wounded in a coordinated resistance operation in eastern Gaza.
The commander overseeing the Shujaiya operation stated that resistance fighters carried out a meticulously prepared ambush targeting Israeli soldiers east of Shujaiya.
He said the enemy forces completely lost their capacity to respond or maneuver, resorting only to chaotic retreat and shouting without returning fire at the fighters.
The commander reported that the resistance observed the burned remains of Israeli officers and soldiers at the scene, stressing that, as usual, the occupying regime was fabricating narratives and concealing its true losses.
He confirmed that approximately 40 soldiers and officers of the Zionist entity were struck in the operation. “By God’s grace, (they) were either killed or wounded,” he added.
He underlined that this complex attack was driven by the conviction that the occupiers must taste the same suffering—death, destruction, and displacement— that they relentlessly impose on the Palestinian people.
