I did stress this point numerous times since Feb '22.
But unlike my insistence that millions of dead Slavs smelled sweet on Yahweh's altar of cannibal sacrifice (burnt offerings, well aged in the muddy battlefields of Donbas), this guy, The Warlord, Armchaired And Dangerous, claims that the grinding pace of SMO is dictated by a different calculus, namely to lure the fighting men of Ukraine into bloody cauldrons and thus eliminate Ukrainian war making capacity in a direct, brutal way.
Though I disagree, I admit that he argues his point cogently, at least from a dispassionate, military logic.
My reasoning additionally embraces a spiritual, moral dimension—namely, that Russians abhor unnecessary slaughter of brother Slavs as much as Jews (sorry, @steve_brown, objection noted, let's split the difference and call them "Zionists" this once) find it orgiastically desirable.
(Those vast, spirit-defeating fields of the fallen read like Zelensky's offshore bank account—and Zelensky is no Russian)
