CHINA RELEASES OUTLINE OF ITS 15TH FIVE YEAR PLAN

The following is exerted from the Global Times Report on the communique from the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China (CPC) which convened its fourth plenary session this week in Beijing from Monday to Thursday.

Participants at the session deliberated over and adopted the Recommendations of the CPC Central Committee for Formulating the 15th Five-Year Plan for Economic and Social Development, according to a communique of the session released on Thursday, October 23, 2025 at 17:00 hrs Beijing Time.

The Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee presided over the meeting. Xi Jinping, general secretary of the CPC Central Committee, delivered important addresses, according to the communique.

We are soon approaching the first anniversary of the fall of Bashar Al-Assad’s Baathist government in Syria.
