Iran pledges retaliation for Israeli assassination of senior Hezbollah commander

TEHRAN, Nov. 24 (Xinhua) -- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) on Monday vowed a "crushing response" to Israel over the assassination of senior Hezbollah commander Haytham Ali Tabtabai.

In a statement on its official news outlet, Sepah News, the IRGC condemned Israel's "brutal crime," saying Tabtabai was targeted in Beirut's southern suburbs in a "flagrant and terrorist" act. The statement added that "the resistance axis and Hezbollah" reserve the right to avenge the killing and that a decisive response would come "at the appropriate time."

At least five people, including Tabtabai, were killed and 28 others wounded in Sunday's Israeli airstrike on a residential apartment in Haret Hreik, according to the Lebanese Health Ministry.

Iran's Foreign Ministry also condemned the strike in a statement on Monday, calling the attack a "brutal aggression" against Lebanon's territorial integrity and national sovereignty.

Ignorant people often tell me: "Brian, you're WRONG about Islam!!! The Quran CLEARLY promotes violence! Read 2-191!!!"

This cherry picked quote says:

"Kill them wherever you come upon them and drive them out of the places from which they have driven you out. For persecution is far worse than killing. And do not fight them at the Sacred Mosque unless they attack you there. If they do so, then fight them—that is the reward of the disbelievers."

This quote seems truly shocking to people who think a single quote taken out of context can define an ENTIRE book and even an entire religion without any necessity for further inquiry or to at least read the quotes directly BEFORE and AFTER.

But if you are capable of thinking for yourself and desire to know the actual truth, you might decide more context is required and read at least this section of the Quran yourself.

The quotes immediately before and after the above quote state:

"Fight in the cause of Allah ˹only˺ against ...

My Fellow Duranianss.

Yes, it's happened again. I have been assaulted by a vicious Malware Bot Virus or whatever 911 Socks is and this thing is bad ! 

However I wanted to give you a "peace" of my mind concerning the "Piece" or piss, as Elensky calls it, as this thing fell to pieces before it even happened.

Coincidentally on the very SAME DAY  this crap happened Saudi Arabia DROPPED the US Petrodollar as a buying currency and NO ONE absolutely NO ONE is talking about this fact anywhere !!!
