The permanent political class is addicted to the continual immiseration of the commoners by means of war, misappropriated taxes, social mismanagement, arduous bureaucratic burdens, economic precarity, and so on.

One of the most blatant abuses has been the the great covid 19 social coup, which featured hospitals getting paid much extra money to instigate the diagnosis of plain common flu as covid 19. The resulting covid 19 hysteria provided cover for the transformation of most of the Western common class population into a third world economic condition.
