Back in 1999, there was a huge panic in the entire globe. The media were constantly promoting the Y2K bug narrative. Lots of dreadful forecasts were made about the near demise of modern civilisation. People who knew nothing about computers were allowed free rein.

I got a lucrative contract from Exxon to update some 50,000 procedures (programs) in the language Nomad2 and the 20,000 associated databases. These underpinned the refinery operations at Fawley (UK), Rotterdam (Netherlands), Antwerp (Belgium) and Notre‑Dame‑de‑Gravenchon (France). I wrote a Delphi Pascal program that would generate the myriad procedures that would carry out this task just before midnight on 31/12/1999. I spent the rest of the time playing with my laptop and letting the money roll in. The management of Exxon had no idea what I was doing. They never asked.

I never got a call from Exxon so I am sure everything went as planned. I heard of no large company that had any problems.

Now, I realise that the Y2K panic was precursor of the Covid nonsense. They were making sure that we were mentally expecting shocks.

Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has accused Brussels and Western European governments of “squeezing everything” out of their taxpayers while feeding them soothing lies to keep funding Kiev’s futile war effort.

In an interview with Kossuth Radio on Friday, Orban expressed astonishment at the EU’s financial commitments to Ukraine, which Brussels estimates now exceed €193 billion ($224 billion). He noted that while the “Americans were smarter and had quit at the right time” – Brussels has recently presented yet another €90 billion funding package.

“They are sprinkling, sending, smoking away… the European taxpayers’ money in a situation where Europe has no money,” Orban said, expressing relief that Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic secured exemptions from that plan after what he described...

A quick commentary on the "Piss Summit"

My Fellow Duranianss.

Yes, it's happened again. I have been assaulted by a vicious Malware Bot Virus or whatever 911 Socks is and this thing is bad !

However I wanted to give you a "peace" of my mind concerning the "Piece" or piss, as Elensky calls it, as this thing fell to pieces before it even happened.

Coincidentally on the very SAME DAY this crap happened Saudi Arabia DROPPED the US Petrodollar as a buying currency and NO ONE absolutely NO ONE is talking about this fact anywhere !!!
