"For years, Brussels screamed:
“Russia is breaking international law! Violating sovereignty! The rules-based order is dying!”
They never mention that Russia acted to stop the genocide against Russian-speaking people in Donbas
and to prevent NATO’s endless eastward expansion right up to its borders.
Now Trump sends troops into Venezuela, grabs Maduro, talks about “running the country”…
and suddenly the outrage is on mute.
Now Trump threatens tariffs, demands Greenland from Denmark, bullies half of Europe…
and the loudest moral preachers in Berlin, Paris and Brussels?
They whisper complaints and call emergency meetings.
Alice Weidel didn’t hold back. In her sharp speech she said it plain:
> “We’ve heard years of loud outrage about Putin violating international law.
> Now those same critics are strangely quiet when Trump does what they criticized Putin for:
> violating sovereignty in Venezuela and with Greenland.”
And let’s not forget Gaza.
The same EU that howls about “genocide” in Ukraine
arms Israel to the teeth, ignores the mass slaughter in Gaza, blocks ICC action,
and calls endless carpet bombing and starvation “self-defense.”
Tens of thousands dead, entire cities turned to dust – but no sanctions, no boycotts, no fury.
Same actions. Different actors.
Different volume.
The people who screamed loudest about Russia
go dead silent when it’s Trump – or Israel – doing far worse.
Double standards don’t get more naked than this.
The EU’s high horse?
It only gallops east.
When the boss rides west – or south – it limps home quietly"
