I’m struck by the lack of shame amongst the MSM dancing around the seriousness of the Epstein horrors. They are only too willing to restrict their response to the few offered up scalps with headline condemnations so long as the digging doesn’t go too deep.
It reminds me of the Saville shuffle in the UK, when the crimes Jimmy Saville committed were revealed only after his death with the same so called journalists admitting privately what they long knew but wrote columns claiming ignorance about the scale of his depravity. The same can be said about the judiciary and establishment. A song and dance was made about a thorough investigation but just as is happening now a few scalps of the guilty were offered up but no real answers, no real enquiry. No establishment names, no one in power, just two sleaze bags known to the media (especially the BBC) for decades; Rolf Harris and Max Clifford (who fed the tabloids their title tattle content decades) everything else left locked in the closet to restrict the damage.
Of course the Saville scandal was not the first of its kind in the UK to be carefully covered up, sadly it won’t be the last. What is referred to on social media as ‘the Pakistani rape gangs’ with the truth carefully selected and choreographed for political purpose and the securing of votes, a spin that saw the girls branded as the guilty even by those that should have protected them and a shamefully complicit MSM that helped to crucify their families. One brave police officer fought for justice and it cost her. AS expected the MSM also tied themselves in knots over their own political correctness, refusing to name the ethnicity of the perpetrators and when it was unavoidable it was qualified with the fact that more rapes are carried out by white British, well no shit Sherlock demographics ensures that, qualifications to crime they don’t offer up on other occasions.
Nevertheless, there is much in common between the rape gangs in the UK and the Epstein circle, it’s the abuse of the other, by race or poverty or both, the victims treated as having less value than the perpetrators, by both the criminals and the system. The judiciary and establishment on both sides of the Atlantic seem comfortable branding underage girls from a difficult or poor background as liars or manipulative or prostitutes or sometimes all three. Knowing why they put power and money above justice doesn’t sit any easier than being in ignorance.
The political strings pulled that enables such cover ups in the UK is insignificant by those globally woven by the Epstein affiliation, that’s a tapestry of such horror it would literally turn your stomach. It’s even greater than the abuse covered up by the Catholic Church for decades to protect the institution. The Epstein case hasn’t corrupted one institution but many. What made it possible is money, more combined finances than most countries GDP. Alongside the righteous chorus from the public calling for transparency on the abuses of minors, where is the outrage about the financial corruption, for one begets the other and makes every taxpayer victim to their system. True leadership would be to bring out the horns and tear down those walls. otherwise there is no healing a sick system, it’s simply a placebo for the masses. If it takes decades to take it down one brick at a time, we shouldn’t accept what is served up as justice done.
The next brick in the wall should be the Wexner files, his lawyers can claim his mental health makes him unfit for investigation but his records don’t have dementia.
