"Trump said..."
Trump said that the war is "completed" or nearly so, and that America's military did a great job. Reminded me of Bush's "mission accomplished" approach, except that Trump makes less sense than Bush.
The Strait is still closed with only the occasional tanker getting through. And Trump's exhortation to tanker sea captains to "show some guts" and take the risk, won;t apply when insurance companies say coverage won;t apply if the captains do take the risk and get hammered.
Maybe Trump thinks that US warships can open the Strait? But Iran seems to have capabilities to confront US warships if that scenario develops.
Iran is still firing missiles and drones, albeit at a reduced rate. The reason why is of course unclear, but Iran's capability to launch still exists.
Meanwhile Hezbollah is making impressive gains versus Israel's offense forces, in Lebanon, and by attacking Israel;s signals capability at a high level of delivery.
But as usual with Washington and the US overall being fraudulent, corrupt, and an Empire of Lies -- which Trump and his family embody to perfection -- it seems that the entire US media is only allowing propaganda and misinformation to be broadcast.
There was also a rumor seemingly credible early last morning that Trump called back Israeli bombers from attacking Iran's oil infrastructure, going forward. Strange if true.
I certainly have no idea what's going on wrt this harrowing war situation. Does anyone know? Anyone?
Meanwhile it's good to see PressTV back broadcasting again, even if their content is not much better than the western media's propaganda press.
