Today at 3:00 p.m. EDT, the annual Al-Quds Day March is scheduled to take place in Toronto.
Leading up to it over the past two weeks or so, has been a series of "attacks on the Jewish community", i.e. a few shots fired at synagogues in the middle of the night with no one around, and no one ever being apprehended.
These culminated in the same type of "attack" a few days ago on the US Consulate which, strangely enough, is the site of the Al-Quds action today. Same MO, shots fired in the middle of the night at the building.
Cue the usual gang of sleazy politicians demanding the march be banned, and stern statements by the police that violence will not be tolerated. The Premier specifically threatened to seek an injunction, but as of now, there's no evidence that any such steps have been taken. Note that these marches have been going on for years, with no incidents.
In my view, all these "attacks" are false flags, intended to build sympathy for Zionism, while intimidating those who stand against it.
We will see to what extent they are successful.
