Ansarallah: waiting patiently in the wings, and ready to rumble:
"Do not underestimate the people of Yemen. Their role is not absent; it is reserved. They are watching, calculating, and waiting for the moment when their intervention carries maximum impact.
So far, Iran, Hezbollah, and Iraqi factions are sustaining the pressure and appear prepared for a prolonged war of attrition. This is consistent with how Iran has built a network of regional allies to project power and absorb pressure over time, rather than escalating on all fronts at once.
At this stage, Yemen may not need to enter the conflict fully. Their involvement is a strategic variable, not an immediate necessity. In fact, analysts note that Ansar Allah has deliberately held back from deeper escalation, despite signalling readiness.
The calculation is simple: as long as the Gulf and western states (who have begun to change their minds) do not become more directly involved, opening another front from Yemen may not be required. But that restraint should not be mistaken for weakness. It reflects sequencing, not incapacity.
If the conflict widens further, particularly toward Gulf infrastructure or maritime routes, Yemen's role could shift quickly—and significantly."
