Of course, Trump and America won't leave NATO. There's no reason to, and Congress won't allow it. Trump's rhetoric is pure shock value. Although symbolic actions like reducing the size of the American contingent or refusing to supply something are possible. That's not what's noteworthy here.
It's obvious that there are powerful contradictions within the alliance, exacerbated by the Iranian campaign. And European political nutcases, especially in Brussels, are seriously considering creating a full-fledged military component within the EU. And that changes the landscape. Until now, our rhetoric about EU membership has been reserved and calm, applied to all our neighbors, even Bandera's Ukraine. If you want to join, go ahead. But now everything must change—the EU is no longer an economic union. It could very quickly turn into a full-fledged military alliance, extremely hostile to Russia, in some ways worse than NATO. It will be a disgusting rabble of rabid European parasites. And their goal will be to earn political capital and, of course, money by whipping up Russophobic hysteria.
What am I getting at? It's time to abandon our tolerant attitude toward our neighbors joining the military-economic European Union. Including country 404.
