I contributed to a post here which included Jacqui Lambie supporting a bill to monitor content of young people's access to social media. At the time, I said it was irrelevant due to the contempt I hold for Jacqui's ability to think. Every time I watch a movie now, I get prompted to acknowledge that I am over 15. Soon it will need authentication, and with CloudFlare intercepting all web traffic (locals uses it), then it does not matter where in the world you access information from, it can be tracked to you.
Not sure why I did not think of this, but as soon as the laws are passed that you need to have age verification, it will be for everything, the authentication credentials will give your address, your political affiliations, your shoe size, your facial scan from tagged photographs and any other information we have given away.
At a time when food security is at risk and we are headed toward either an engineered or stupid world wide recession, this could be the start of a new era of repression in the west. What do you think?
