Edit : Petition link, and the petition text, at the end of this post. My original post is here. ▶️ Hurray Greece❣️💝🇬🇷. We are now a group of 12 countries that have passed the threshold of numer of signatures needed. The minimum, to force this to the plenary located in the capital of Belgium (it's pretty cool that Belgium was one of the firat to pass the threshold number, actually). The minimum number of countries with enough signatures each, is 7; and the total minimum amount of all people, signing the petition, is one million. It was already well passed that number for some time now, and now is at 1,170,894. Just a day or two ago I thought to myself: look at Greece, it's almost there❣️. And sure enough here we are, with Greece 💖. I leave a link showing each country, and a screenshot. https://citizens-initiative.europa.eu/initiatives/details/2025/000005_de#statements-table (the person who showed me this update is German, but there are various different language options). Wishing all Durania a Good Day.
Petition text & link (I've put French & English translations because I'm on my phone, and for some reason can't find where the petition's language setting is; but I know it is there). Also, my German is poor, so I hope the translations are ok.

[Headline] In view of Israel's human rights violations, we call for the complete suspension of the association agreement between the EU and Israel
According to the European Commission, the State of Israel is responsible for the unprecedented mass killing and injury of civilians, as well as for the mass displacement of the population and the systematic destruction of hospitals and medical facilities in Gaza [1]. Israel is also blocking the provision of humanitarian aid; this approach could be seen as starvation as a method of warfare. Israel is breaking numerous rules and obligations of international law and is not complying with the order of the International Court of Justice [2] to prevent the crime of genocide.
And yet the EU has still not suspended its association agreement with Israel, a cornerstone of bilateral cooperation between the EU and Israel in the fields of trade, economy and politics.
EU citizens must no longer accept that the EU is upholding an agreement that legitimizes and finances a state that commits crimes against humanity and war crimes.
We therefore call on the Commission to submit to the Council a proposal for the complete suspension of the Association Agreement between the EU and Israel.
