Iran Ready to Share Experiences of War against US with SCO

TEHRAN (Tasnim) – An Iranian deputy defense minister said the country is prepared to share its experiences from the war against the United States with member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO).
Brigadier General Reza Talaee Nik made the remarks after arriving in Kyrgyzstan to attend a meeting of defense ministers of SCO member states, where he was welcomed by General Talantbek Talipov, commander of the Air Defense Forces of Kyrgyzstan.
The Iranian general stated that the US is no longer in a position to dictate its policies to independent nations, adding that this reality has been made clear to the world through the resilience of the Iranian people and Armed Forces during the recent US-Israeli war of aggression.
He said Washington will ultimately have to accept abandoning its unlawful and unreasonable demands.
Talaee Nik further noted that today many around the world regard the US and the Zionist regime as symbols of “state terrorism”.
While Iran remains ready to ensure strong defense and meet the needs of its Armed Forces, it is also prepared to share its defensive military capabilities with independent countries, particularly SCO members, the deputy minister stated.
He emphasized that Iran stands ready to transfer its experiences in defeating the US to other members of the SCO.
On February 28, the United States and the Israeli regime launched an unprovoked war of aggression against Iran, during which then Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei and several senior military officials were martyred.
Iranian Armed Forces responded with weeks of missile and drone strikes targeting American and Israeli military positions in the occupied territories and the Persian Gulf region, inflicting heavy damages in 100 waves of counterattacks over a period of 40 days.
A Pakistani-mediated ceasefire lasting two weeks was reached on April 8, paving the way for talks in Islamabad. During those negotiations, Iran put forward a ten-point proposal that included the withdrawal of US forces and the removal of sanctions.
Iran has made clear that any return to ceasefire negotiations depends on the lifting of the US naval blockade. Officials have argued that the continued blockade constitutes a violation of the truce.
