The release of the bodycam footage has raised even more questions about the events surrounding Henry Nowak’s death.
Questions that Hampshire Police and the CPS cannot simply expect the public to forget.
Vickrum Digwa’s mother is due to be sentenced for removing the murder weapon from the scene.
But what about the roles allegedly played by others that night?
If Digwa’s brother knew Henry had been stabbed, why has no charge been announced?
If Digwa’s father and brother knew Henry Nowak had been stabbed, why have no charges been announced against them?
Why was a 999 call made alleging that Henry had racially attacked the man who had just stabbed him?
Why was a critically injured 18-year-old restrained while bleeding from fatal wounds?
Why were officers not immediately told that Henry had been stabbed?
Most importantly, if people at the scene knew the truth about Henry’s condition, why was that information not made clear as he lay on the ground, handcuffed, repeatedly saying he couldn’t breathe?
And until those answers are provided, many people will continue to ask why everyone involved that night has not faced the same level of scrutiny.
Justice is not just about what happened in the seconds of the attack.
It’s about everything that happened afterwards and Hampshire Police and the CPS have not done enough to answer these questions and lots still remain unanswered and it makes me think and ask WHY!
