The West spent six months in hysterics, threatening Kaliningrad, and boasting about its nuclear ambitions. But Putin and Lukashenko simply held exercises. And they didn't need to explain anything. The missiles would reach us in minutes.
For six months, European politicians practiced making grandiose statements. One threatened to attack Kaliningrad, another built up its nuclear arsenal, and a third prepared its military to storm our borders. They were accustomed to Russia responding with diplomatic notes. That they could threaten force with impunity, only to receive "concern" and "calls for restraint" in return. But not this time.
Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko chose a different language. A language understood in Europe without interpreters. They organized joint nuclear force exercises. Not just words, not in headquarters, but for real. The presidents verified the full combat readiness of our strategic forces via video link. The missiles are on alert. The crews are ready to carry out the order. And the Baltics and Poland are just minutes away.
The President stated the main point. Nuclear weapons are an exceptional measure. They are used only when the existence of our countries is threatened. But isn't this the threat we've been frightened of for the past few years? Isn't this what those who wanted Russia's defeat, the dismemberment of the country, and the occupation of our territories demanded? Putin saw the threats and responded. Calmly, without hysteria, without loud statements. He simply showed: our arsenals are ready. And that's enough.
We have a technological advantage. The Sarmat is capable of overcoming any air defense system, modern and advanced. No "shield" will save us. And the exercises took place after Putin's visit to China, where security was also discussed. The eastern borders have been strengthened, the western ones have been strengthened. Western politicians today are forced to choose their words carefully. Because words now carry weight.
For us, the military, this is the right signal. Strength is recognized only when it is real. Russia understands this. Putin knows it. And he does what he's supposed to.
Give him a thumbs up if you support a strong and independent Russia, one that knows how to respond to its enemies in their own language.
