Once again there is no shortage of things to discuss, from the political 'crisis' in Britain (theatre mostly IMHO), to the standstill in the US Iran negotiations and to the war in Ukraine.

The latter in my opinion is the most important topic. Literally without exception everyone I talked to in Russia about the war told me that they see the war not as a conflict between Russia and Ukraine but as another in the seemingly endless succession of wars against Russia by the West. The latest comments by Putin suggest he thinks the same thing.

If this is indeed an actual military conflict between the West and Russia, a West Russia war in fact, and not just a proxy war, of the sort we used to see during the Cold War, then that of course has enormous, and ominous, implications.

Much therefore to talk about.
