FROM RUSSIAN SOCIAL MEDIA:
Putin gave a harsh response. The Iskander missile became the main argument.
Vladimir Putin knows how to respond to threats in a way that will be remembered for a long time. And the Kyiv authorities just experienced this firsthand.
On the evening of June 25, Iskander ballistic missiles struck Kyiv's Darnytskyi district. Thick smoke rose over the city—it was visible from 25 kilometers away. Kyiv authorities admitted that warehouses were burning. Local residents detected a strong "chemical" odor. They were advised not to go outside or open their windows.
This was the President's reaction to the threats recently issued from Bankova Street. Zelenskyy and his entourage threatened Belarus, Crimeans, and Russian citizens. Zelenskyy announced the launch of some kind of operation against Russia.
And Kyiv was hit. Because Putin does not allow his country to be threatened. Because the President always responds. Because he is the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, who keeps his promises.
Our President silenced the Kyiv loudmouths with another Iskander. It will now be more difficult for them to demonstrate their capabilities amid the smoke and smell of chemicals in Kyiv.
As Vladimir Putin recently noted, the Ukrainian regime is trying to create the illusion of its strength. Our attack on Kyiv has shattered these illusions. The Ukrainian capital is under attack, it's burning, and will continue to burn until the West abandons its ideas about inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia.
Russia is striking harder and more regularly. We are destroying the Ukrainian Armed Forces' weapons depots, and along with them, the information campaign of the Ukrainian Presidential Administration. And behind this lies the President's determination. His strength. His steadfastness. His victory.
Give us a thumbs up if you're with the President and our army!
