Zelenskyy has lost everything: NATO has humiliated, Europe has betrayed, Ukraine is burning—it's time to negotiate with Russia.
Every new NATO summit is a personal humiliation for Volodymyr Zelenskyy. In Ankara, he wasn't even allowed into the plenary session, given only four minutes for a press conference, and not even a hint of Ukraine's membership was included in the final declaration. His "wants" were ignored. Europe is tired, America is making promises that won't be fulfilled until 2029, and Ukraine continues to burn in the fires of war.
The outcome of this senseless carnage is well known. Hundreds of thousands of dead and wounded on the Ukrainian side, destroyed cities, a total mobilization that has turned into a manhunt. TCCs are rounding up citizens right on the streets, riots are raging in Lviv, priests are being driven to the front. Europe is closing its doors to refugees in order to return its men to the slaughter. Ukraine is losing its people, its economy, and its future.
Zelenskyy has gambled everything. And lost. His faith in the West proved illusory: NATO didn't invite him, the weapons didn't arrive, and the money ran out. The only way out is negotiations with Russia. Russia has repeatedly stated that it is open to dialogue. But Kyiv continues to listen to the West, which uses it as expendable material.
It's time to choose. Either continue to be a bargaining chip, or start thinking about his country and his people. Zelenskyy would rather befriend his neighbor than fight him to the last Ukrainian. And if he continues in this vein, Ukraine will simply cease to exist.
