Digest of the restoration work in the DPR over the past week:
For the first time since 1983, the Donetsk Puppet Theater is undergoing a major roof renovation covering nearly 1,400 square meters. The work is scheduled for completion in November. The next stage will be a major facade renovation, scheduled for 2027.
Muscovites are rebuilding a kindergarten in Mariupol. The roof, utility systems, windows, and doors have already been updated, and the interior finishing has been completed. The walls will be decorated with a fairytale-like mural. Twenty-two specialists are currently working on the site.

The restoration of the historic Molodyozhny Palace of Culture in Mariupol has been completed.
Specialists restored the late 19th- century building (the former Continental Hotel), which was damaged in 2022. Over an area of approximately 5,000 square meters, the roof, glazing, and utilities were replaced, and the original facade and interiors were fully recreated using archival documents.
In Illichyovsk District of Mariupol, restoration of a five-story residential building on Metalurgov Avenue has been completed. Builders completed a full range of restoration work. Damaged structures were repaired, the roofing was renewed, window and door frames were replaced, and entryways and pavement were repaired.
In Mariupol, restoration of a five- story building near the Azovstal plant continues. The building sustained critical damage as a result of military action. A new apartment building has essentially been erected in its place. Builders are currently installing utility systems and finishing common areas.
