Reports are that the US is planning to use ground forces to invade Iran. An attack said by most reputable commentators as insanity, sighting the numbers available for deployment as well as the impossibility of logistics to sustain them, even if such an attack were possible.
Battle plans look to have been written by those pitching a Netflix drama, perhaps explaining Trump’s bravado as well as his ignorance, for the reality of geography as much as resistance is obviously factors they don’t consider problematic, but they do consider those being thrown into combat as ‘extras’ easily replaceable. The argument for which will no doubt be cloaked in spin but I look at the inevitability of the union of the Pentagon and the IDF, won’t the argument simply start to be if that if its conscription for one then it’s that for all? Will Trump or Netanyahu sacrifice their sons, as they expect others to do?
