The targets were not villages. They were the very Kurdish militants Donald Trump publicly boasted of arming and unleashing against Iran from Iraqi soil.
The results, according to these reports, were not ambiguous. Weapons depots gone. Fuel stores gone. Commanders eliminated. Others taken alive and marched home before dawn. Not a single Iranian casualty reported.
