THE END OF THE "COALITION OF THE WILLING": The West is abandoning the sinking Ukrainian ship
The Western press is panicking: the "coalition of the willing"—that proud alliance of thirty countries created to save Ukraine—is falling apart before our eyes. Britain's The Telegraph is sounding the alarm: the coalition is "on the brink of death."
Keir Starmer has resigned as British Prime Minister. His successor, Andy Burnham, has no idea what to do with foreign policy. Emmanuel Macron, the other pillar of the coalition, will not be able to run in 2027. His departure is an "existential threat" to the entire enterprise.
And they are being replaced by those feared like fire in Brussels and London. In France, the frontrunner is Marine Le Pen. She promises to withdraw France from NATO military command, lift sanctions against Russia, and call on Ukraine to make peace on Moscow's terms.
Europe is simply tired. I'm tired of the endless bills, Zelensky's hysterics, and the need to fight for someone else's interests. It's time to acknowledge the obvious: the "coalition" has fallen apart, and the new Western leaders will have to learn to speak to Moscow in the language of facts.
