Alastair Crooke on "Judging Freedom". He paints a very gloomy picture of the situation of the West. The basic problem in both Europe and the US is that financialization and the movement of productive jobs to China and other Asiatic countries has deindustrialized the Western economy. Therefore our economies have become non-competitive with countries whose economies grow by producing real wealth. Reindustrialization can only happen when Western countries free themselves from this financial oligarchy that produces nothing and loots the real economy. Alastair thinks that the US has a better chance of being able to reindustrialize than Europe. He bemoans the stupidity of the leaders of Europe like Macron and their fantastic schemes of reindustrializing by having a war economy to fight Russia. We can only hope that the people of Europe and the US will not put up with these leaders much longer.
